Office Clerical and Technical Unit

O CTU - The Office Clerical and Technical Unit are proud members of OSSTF District 20 - Halton. We are fortunate to be included with OSSTF.  Our union not only protects teachers but educational support staff too.   Our membership consists of 39 job classes, approximately 280 permanent members and 100 casuals.  We contribute daily to the success of the Halton District School Board within the Board Office, Education Centre, libraries, elementary and secondary schools in a wide range of jobs and responsibilities.  We are the secretaries, media clerks, repair technicians, library technicians, offset operators, shippers/receivers, cataloguers, accounting clerks, rental coordinators, receptionists and buyers.  We are committed to professional development and play a very important role within the Halton District School Board.  As a member of the OSSTF educational team, we work together to support all students.
